📍On March 30, 2026, the General Assembly of the Departments of Theoretical and Preventive Medicine and Clinical Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was held in Kyiv

🗓️On March 30, 2026, the General Assembly of the Departments of Theoretical and Preventive Medicine and Clinical Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was held in Kyiv.

✔️In particular, the General Meeting of the Department of Theoretical and Preventive Medicine was held in the conference hall of the State Institution “Academician A.P. Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.”

✔️The General Meeting of the Department of Clinical Medicine took place in the conference hall of the State Institution “All-Ukrainian Center for Motherhood and Childhood of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.”

📍During the meetings, the agenda items were discussed, including:

✅ recommendations regarding the appointment of heads of scientific institutions of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine;

✅ elections of academicians-secretaries of the departments;

✅ reports by the heads of scientific institutions of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine for 2025.

Following the voting and vote counting, reports were heard from the heads of state institutions that are part of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

During the meeting, Director of a State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine,» Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Health Care Worker of Ukraine Igor SHKROBANETS, presented the Report on the scientific and organizational activities of the Institution for 2025. The report was unanimously accepted and approved.

📍The General Meeting took place in a productive atmosphere and served as an important step in summarizing the activities of NAMNU institutions and determining future directions for the development of medical science.
