Interview with Vasyl Lazoryshynets, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (NAMSU) for «The Pharma Media»™, on the transformation of medical science during wartime, current scientific developments, and the work of NAMSU institutions
✍️President Vasyl Lazoryshynets gave an extensive interview to the specialized publication «The Pharma Media»™, in which he discussed the transformation of medical science during wartime, the development of military medicine, current scientific achievements, and the work of NAMSU institutions, including the SI «IPH NAMSU».
📍In particular, the article notes that one-third of the fundamental and more than half of the applied scientific research carried out by the NAMS of Ukraine today is dedicated specifically to military topics, assisting Ukrainian defenders, and developing the latest treatment methods.
⚡️The interview also addresses the development of cardiac surgery, the treatment of combat injuries, the rehabilitation of military personnel, and the integration of Ukrainian medical science into the international arena.
