On April 16, 2026, researchers from the State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» participated in the 20th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Environmental Security of the State: Strategic Priorities, Cross-Sectoral Cooperation, and Sustainable Development in Modern Conditions,” organized by the State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute.”
The event brought together young scientists, students, and leading experts to discuss pressing issues of environmental safety, contemporary challenges in the fields of environmental protection and public health, as well as avenues for intersectoral cooperation to ensure the sustainable development of the state. The conference served as an important platform for the exchange of scientific findings, professional dialogue, and the development of innovative approaches in research.
The Department of Air Quality of the State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» presented a report titled “Innovative Approaches to Air Quality Assessment in the Public Health System.” The presentation highlighted modern methods for assessing ambient air quality, their significance for the public health system, and the prospects for implementing innovative approaches in practical activities.
