📍The National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine Will Deepen Cooperation in the Field of Healthcare

⚡️On September 9, 2026, a ceremony was held to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation and Collaboration between the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU) and the Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Organizations (UFPMO).
✍️The document was signed by NAAU Director Serhiy Kostyuk and Vasyl Lazoryshynets, President of the UFPMO, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.
The memorandum aims to strengthen and develop cooperation in the field of technical regulation in the healthcare sector, as well as to provide expert and analytical support for the training and professional development of experts.
The parties will pay particular attention to issues related to the development, manufacture, quality control, and distribution of medical devices, specifically in vitro diagnostic medical devices, active implantable medical devices, and other products within the relevant areas of technical regulation.
Igor Shkrobanets – Secretary General of the Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Organization, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Health Care Worker of Ukraine, and Director of the State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» – was also present at the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum.
🤝The signing of the Memorandum lays the foundation for further systematic cooperation between professional medical organizations and authorities in the field of accreditation and technical regulation, which will contribute to improving the quality and safety of medical products in Ukraine.
