Meeting with representatives of design and engineering companies from Ukraine and Japan as part of the International Engineering Exhibition «AQUATHERM Kyiv»

On May 12, 2026, the International Engineering Exhibition «AQUATHERM Kyiv,» dedicated to water supply, sewage, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and sanitary equipment, opened in Kyiv.

Panel discussions addressed the water strategy of local communities and the state of Ukraine’s water sector and infrastructure. The event brought together leading experts, manufacturers, and suppliers from many countries to present the latest technologies.

Olesia Zorina, Head of the Department of Hygiene of Settlements of the State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine,» Doctor of Biological Sciences, Senior Research Fellow, participated in a meeting with representatives of engineering and design organizations from Ukraine and Japan as an expert on the management of government and investment projects.

During the meeting, participants discussed the principles for the placement of centralized drinking water supply and wastewater disposal facilities in Ukraine, as well as issues related to the safe and efficient operation of engineering structures and systems provided by the Japanese company «Nihon Genryo Co., Ltd.»
