The State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the NAMSU» and the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy have signed a Memorandum of Long-Term Partnership and Cooperation
The State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» and the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy signed a Memorandum of Long-Term Partnership and Cooperation in the field of public health by combining scientific, analytical, expert, and practical capabilities to improve the health of citizens.
The document was signed by: Director of the State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine», Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Igor SHKROBANETS, and Head of the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy, Brigadier General of the Medical Service Valerii SAVITSKYI.
The Memorandum provides for:
- cooperation in the field of assessing and forecasting public health conditions, taking into account the impact of environmental factors during wartime;
- cooperation in analyzing the causes of the emergence and spread of infectious and non-infectious diseases, as well as improving preventive measures, including ensuring biosafety and preventing antimicrobial resistance;
- coordination of activities related to monitoring the state of the environment and assessing its impact on public health;
- facilitating the exchange of experience, best scientific practices, materials, and analytical data, as well as engaging international expert capacity to implement joint scientific and practical initiatives, etc.
