📍The President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine Participated in the Ceremonial Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation
On September 8, 2026, Vasyl Lazoryshynets, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, took part in the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the All-Ukrainian Public Organization «Stop Corruption» and the Public Union «Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Organizations» (UFPMO).
The All-Ukrainian Public Organization «Stop Corruption» was represented at the signing ceremony by the organization’s co-founder, civic activist, and volunteer Roman Bochkala; co-founder and renowned attorney Bohdan Khmelnytskyi; and Board Chairman Ihor Bondarchuk.
📃The memorandum aims to develop cooperation in the healthcare sector, support medical workers and patients, uphold the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability, and implement joint social and professional initiatives.
⚡️During the event, the importance of uniting the efforts of the medical community and civil society organizations to support the military, patients, and healthcare workers amid a full-scale war was emphasized.
Igor Shkrobanets – Secretary General of the «Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Organizations» (UFPMO), Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Health Care Worker of Ukraine, and Director of the State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» – was also present at the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum.
🤝The Memorandum provides for joint work on the development of the medical sector, the preparation of proposals to improve legislation and state policy in the field of healthcare, and the conduct of research, educational events, seminars, and roundtables.
