A Meeting of Water Treatment Equipment Manufacturers from Ukraine and Japan Was Held
On June 30, 2026, a meeting of water treatment equipment manufacturers from Ukraine and Japan was held at a research and production facility in Kyiv. The event was attended by Doctor of Biological Sciences and Senior Researcher Olesia ZORINA, Head of the Department of Urban Planning Hygiene and Water Management at the State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.»
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize participants with the production capabilities of Ukrainian water treatment equipment manufacturers and to establish partnerships for the implementation of the latest Japanese technologies for purifying tap drinking water for water supply systems in various regions of Ukraine.
During the meeting, participants discussed modern technologies for the treatment and disinfection of drinking water, the prospects for their implementation in Ukraine, as well as the possibilities for adapting Japanese experience to the operating conditions of Ukraine’s centralized drinking water supply systems.
Particular attention was paid to ensuring high quality and safety of drinking water, improving the energy efficiency of water treatment technologies, and enhancing their resilience to wartime challenges.
