🔔The National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Good Friends International
📍The National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and the international non-governmental organization Good Friends International (GFI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing international cooperation in the field of healthcare between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea.
📃The document defines the general framework for cooperation between the Parties and provides for the implementation of joint initiatives in the field of medical cooperation, in particular professional training of medical personnel, educational programs, exchange of clinical experience, and the development of international patient programs.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the Parties agreed to exchange information, coordinate consultations, support pilot projects and joint initiatives, and gradually strengthen the cooperation platform. Particular attention will be paid to ensuring patient safety and the quality of medical services.
The President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Vasyl Lazoryshynets, emphasized:
«The signing of the memorandum opens up new opportunities for the development of international partnerships, the exchange of professional experience, and the introduction of modern approaches in medical practice, which will contribute to improving the quality of medical care and the development of Ukrainian medical science.»
The memorandum is declarative in nature and reflects the mutual intentions of the parties. Specific projects and measures, if necessary, will be implemented on the basis of separate written agreements.
🤝The document was signed by the President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Vasyl Lazoryshynets, and the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Good Friends International, Dr. Jimmy Kiwon Yi.
