🌍February 4 – World Cancer Day

🎗️World Cancer Day is a reminder that cancer remains one of the most serious challenges facing humanity, and that early diagnosis, scientific research, and access to modern treatment save millions of lives.

🇺🇦This topic is of particular importance for Ukraine. In the context of war, the healthcare system is under extreme pressure, but cancer care continues. Doctors continue to treat, operate, carry out research, implement new approaches, and support patients during the most difficult moments of their lives.

👨‍⚕️The National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine brings together leading scientific institutions and clinics that have been shaping the country’s oncology school for many years, developing fundamental and applied research, and improving methods of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of cancer patients.

👉On this day, we express our support for doctors who fight for the lives of patients every day and for people undergoing treatment. It is important to remember that today many types of cancer can be successfully treated, especially if detected early, and modern medicine and science offer an increasing chance of recovery.

✊The fight continues – and it cannot be stopped.
