👩‍⚕️Today, February 3, the world celebrates International Women Doctors Day – a day dedicated to a profession that combines profound knowledge, responsibility, and boundless humanity.

🇺🇦In Ukraine, this day has a special meaning. Thousands of female doctors work in the extremely difficult conditions of war – in frontline hospitals, stabilization points, mobile hospitals, and during evacuation stages. They save lives under fire, work without sleep, and support wounded soldiers and civilians, often risking their own lives.

Their resilience, professionalism, and dedication are the true front line of medicine.

📍Since its inception, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine has played a key role in the development of medical science and practice, the formation of medical schools, the training of specialists, and the introduction of innovations. Women—scientists, doctors, clinic and institute directors, researchers, and mentors—have always made and continue to make a significant contribution to these achievements.

💐On this day, the President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Vasyl Lazoryshynets, and the Presidium of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine sincerely congratulate all women doctors and women medical professionals.
