November 17 – World Prematurity Day

📌Every year, millions of babies are born prematurely. For them, the first days of life are a struggle for every breath, for every step of development.

For parents, it is a test of strength, faith, and love.

For doctors, it is a daily job where every life matters.

💜 World Prematurity Day is a reminder of how important modern technology, qualified teams of neonatologists, and support for families going through this difficult journey are.

👶 Institutions of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine working in the field of neonatology, pediatrics, and intensive care for newborns save the smallest patients every day, provide complex care, and nurse children born weighing 500–700 grams who require long-term care:
