Greetings from the President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine on the occasion of World Anesthesiologist Day and Allergist Day

🔔October 16 – World Anesthesiologist Day and Allergist Day

🩺Today we honor two important medical specialties – anesthesiology and allergology.

☝️Both of these specialties are an integral part of modern clinical practice and save millions of lives every day.

✅Anesthesiologists are the ones who ensure the safety of each patient during surgery, control pain, stabilize vital functions, and stand by during the most critical moments.

✅Allergists are those who help people live without fear of diseases that often seem unpredictable, restoring quality of life to patients of all ages.

🎗️It is symbolic that these fields are united by a common goal – ensuring the safety, control, and quality of human life.
After all, both anesthesiologists and allergists work with the most sensitive systems of the body – respiratory, immune, cardiovascular – maintaining a balance between life and risk.
