On March 10, 2025, the International Conference «Innovation, Inclusion and Equality of Opportunity: The Fundamental Role of Women in Academia, Education, Science and Entrepreneurship» was held, which was organized within the framework of the mission and goals of the newly established International Center for Advanced Studies and Research for «innovative TecHnologiEs for RADiations, applied to Environmental monitoring, cultural heritage and health risks» (THERADE) (Italy), among which is the development and implementation of advanced educational programs aimed at narrowing the gap between countries, especially concerning women’s access to advanced scientific research and the use of innovative technologies to improve the well-being of their countries.
Representatives from Italy, Turkey, Thailand, Germany, Serbia, Ukraine, Australia, Peru, and Cyprus attended the conference.

- “The Power of presence: how Women revolutionize Academia, Science and Entrepreneurship”
- “Bridging Disciplines: Art History and Nuclear Physics for Heritage Conservation”
- “Advances in AI for Predictive Healthcare and Wellbeing”
- “The role of women in environmental protection”
- “Cultural challenges of Iranian women, especially in rural communities”
- “The Role of Nuclear Science in Medicine”
- “An equality not sought but experienced, the duty to transmit it”
- “Being a woman in academia”
The State Institution «Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine» was presented by reports:
- Deputy Director for Scientific Work, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Olena TUROS – «The role of Ukrainian scientists women in the field of environmental and health»;
- Head of the Laboratory of Radiation Protection, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Tetiana PAVLENKO – «Radiation protection in Ukraine – existing challenges».
The event was also attended by Alla KOBLIANSKA, Head of the Department of the Support of State Programs and International Relations, Candidate of Biological Sciences, and Tetiana TSARENOK, Head of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute.
It would be a great way to unite and send a powerful message to all the women who struggle every day to have their skills, abilities, and talents considered along with their valuable voice as free and independent women.
