Researching social inequalities in health and developing approaches to reduce them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing criteria, screening methods, and tools for assessing human health, functional status, and adaptive potential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of biopsychosocial factors shaping health-promoting and health-damaging behaviors, as well as the population\u2019s environmental awareness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development and implementation of innovative health-promoting technologies, taking into account age, gender, psychophysiological characteristics, and risk factors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research on the quality of medical care, identification of the causes of deficiencies, and development of methodologies for their prevention, taking into account international experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessment of health risks associated with the impact of environmental factors, emergencies, and social transformations, and the development of preventive strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of modern information, digital, and mathematical technologies for use in hygiene and medical-social research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mathematical modeling of adaptive responses of biological systems at various levels to the impact of adverse environmental factors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scientific support for the development of the public health system amid socio-economic changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The most significant scientific achievements of the Health Promotion Department:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Patterns of adaptation and health development among students of various age groups during the period of educational modernization in Ukraine, under different forms of instruction and physical education, have been identified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Criteria for ensuring the hygienic well-being of children with various health impairments\u2014students at special general-education boarding schools\u2014have been substantiated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Criteria for evaluating physical education curricula for students have been developed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A program for the prevention and correction of musculoskeletal disorders in children of senior preschool and school age, titled \u201cBeautiful Posture for Children,\u201d has been developed, and its effectiveness has been established.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conceptual approaches to the hygienic principles of physical education for children in educational institutions have been developed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Criteria for the academic workload of children and adolescents in grades 1\u201311 in general secondary education institutions have been developed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Criteria for levels of health-promoting physical activity among children and adolescents have been developed, both under normal living conditions and during humanitarian emergencies, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The specific features of children\u2019s and adolescents\u2019 adaptation and readaptation to quarantine measures during the COVID-19 pandemic have been identified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A computer program has been developed to predict children\u2019s health, taking into account a complex of morpho-functional and behavioral determinants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A conceptual model of medical-ecological monitoring titled \u201cEnvironment\u2014Public Health\u201d has been developed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scales for predicting the likelihood of health disorders in children have been scientifically validated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An algorithm for assessing the health status of generally healthy children has been proposed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hygienic principles for a system of dynamic monitoring of the health status of the pediatric population have been formulated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Methods for determining the integrated characteristics of research objects have been developed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A universal mathematical model of changes in a biosystem under the influence of acting factors, taking into account their intensity and duration of action, has been created.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in the preparation of the draft Military Medical Doctrine of Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Health Promotion Department The Health Promotion Department was established in 2026 based on three laboratories: the Laboratory of Social Determinants of Population Health, the Laboratory of Epidemiology, Public Health, and Medical Informatics, and the Laboratory of Security Strategies.\u00a0 Head \u2013 Doctor of Medical Sciences Svitlana Hozak, (ORCID: https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-6379-7331).
