\ud83d\udce2On June 1, 2026<\/strong>, on the eve of Journalist Day, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine hosted the first meeting of the press services of the Academy\u2019s state institutions \u2013 an event of great symbolic significance, as it was the first time such a gathering had taken place within the Academy\u2019s walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2705 The event brought together representatives of the press services of all state institutions under the NAMS of Ukraine and marked an important step toward creating a unified media space for the Academy. Participants had the opportunity to report on the status of their press services\u2019 work, share their experiences, present their results, and outline their vision for the future development of communication activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\udde6The meeting was attended by the President of the NAMS of Ukraine, Academician of the NAS and NAMS of Ukraine Vasyl LAZORYSHYNETS<\/strong>, who opened the event and addressed the representatives of the press services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his speech, the President of the NAMS of Ukraine emphasized the important and strategic role of press services in the activities of every NAMS institution, noting that it is high-quality and professional communication that builds the Academy\u2019s reputation at the national and international levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccdThe President of the NAMS of Ukraine noted that today the Academy is not only the flagship of the country\u2019s medical science but also an institution with global standing that actively collaborates with leading European scientific and medical centers. Specialists from the NAMS of Ukraine participate in international programs, professional exchanges, and internships, adopting the best global practices and implementing them in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was chaired and coordinated by Oleksandr YUKHYMCHUK<\/strong>, Head of the NAMS of Ukraine Press Service and Advisor to the President of the NAMS of Ukraine on Public and Media Communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udc49During the meeting, participants presented the activities of their press services, discussed current challenges in the field of medical communications, issues related to the development of digital platforms and social media, interaction with the media, as well as ways to create a unified information space for the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccdParticular attention was paid to coordinating information efforts among the Academy\u2019s state institutions and the need to widely inform the public about the achievements of Ukrainian medical science and the activities of the NAMS of Ukraine\u2019s scientific institutions, which provide highly specialized medical care daily to the population and the defenders of Ukraine. Participants emphasized the importance of conveying to the public information about unique surgeries, scientific developments, the latest treatment methods, and the work of medical professionals who save the lives of civilian and military patients every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you very much for participating in the first meeting of the press services of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have demonstrated remarkable strength, unity, and professionalism. This meeting has shown that the NAMS of Ukraine has a robust communication mechanism and a strong team of specialists who will continue to work side by side to strengthen the image and authority of our unique institution \u2013 the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine \u2013 which brings together a vast number of professionals in their field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, we had the opportunity to witness a large number of professional presentations. Some of them were particularly impressive due to their high level of preparation, creativity, and professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2705Based on the meeting\u2019s outcomes, one of the decisions adopted was to hold meetings of the press services of the State Institution \u201cNational Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine\u201d on a regular basis \u2013 quarterly. So from now on, we will work together to create a unified media space and strengthen the authority of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking this opportunity, on the eve of Journalist Day, which will be celebrated on June 6, I would like to wish you creative inspiration, strength, confidence, new professional achievements, and boundless energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
