P. M. Kovalenko,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academician A. Yu. Romanenko,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academician A. M. Serdyuk,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corresponding Member B. M. Ventskivsky,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corresponding Member O. Ya. Grechanina,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>and employees who died as a result of the Russian Federation\u2019s armed aggression:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Engineer at the State Institution \u201cInstitute of Dermatology and Venereology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine\u201d Yukhimchuk Y. V.,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>nurse at the State Institution \u201cNational Scientific Center named after Acad. M. D. Strazhesko of the NAMS of Ukraine\u201d Katerusha O. I.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccaVasyl Lazoryshynets, President of the NAMS of Ukraine and Academician of the NAMS and the NAS of Ukraine, addressed the event participants with a report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd0dIn his report, Vasyl Lazoryshynets presented the results of the Academy\u2019s activities for 2025. Despite the challenging conditions of wartime, the system of scientific institutions of the NASM of Ukraine, comprising 31 institutes, demonstrates stable operation: the latest treatment methods are being implemented in cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and transplantology; areas related to the treatment and rehabilitation of the wounded are actively developing, as well as the provision of medical care in cooperation with the National Health Service of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf0dAn important step was the strengthening of international integration\u2014cooperation with the Federation of European Academies of Medicine (FEAM), which opens new opportunities for Ukrainian science within the European space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcc3The following items were on the agenda:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>approval of the academicians-secretaries of the departments of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>approval of the composition of the Bureau of the departments of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>approval of the directors of the State Institutions of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Igor Shkrobanets \u2013 Director of the State Institution \u00abMarzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine\u00bb;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Mykhailo Khizhnyak \u2013 Director of the State Institution \u201cA. P. Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine\u201d;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Bohdan Bozhuk \u2013 Director of the State Institution \u201cY. I. Kundiev Institute of Occupational Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc65Participants in the event noted: the key priority for 2026 is the accessibility and free provision of high-tech medical care in cooperation with the National Health Service of Ukraine, as well as the development of domestic medical science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u270d\ufe0fVasyl Lazoryshynets, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, thanked his colleagues for their joint efforts and Ukrainian defenders for
