\ud83c\udf0fFEAM Council Annual Meeting: Participation of Experts from the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and New Strategic Directions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccdOn March 19, 2026, the annual FEAM Council Meeting took place, during which reports were presented by FEAM President Professor Ferry C. Breedveld<\/a> and FEAM Operation Director Ms. Louise Abboud<\/a>, as well as representatives responsible for key areas. During the event, plans for the future and the participation of experts in FEAM working groups were discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the discussion of prospects for international cooperation, the participation of Ukrainian experts from the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (NAMSU) in the FEAM Working Groups on Artificial Intelligence (AI), xenotransplantation, and age-related brain diseases was confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2757\ufe0fFEAM Operation Director Louise Abboud<\/a> confirmed plans for the active participation of Ukrainian scientists in these working groups and also announced that the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine will be exempt from membership dues for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccdIn addition, the FEAM Council meeting adopted a decision to launch a new strategic direction: \u201cStrengthening the European Medicines Ecosystem through Science and Innovation,\u201d which underscores the organization\u2019s priorities in the development of science and international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\udd1dWe thank the meeting participants for their constructive dialogue and support. We look forward to further fruitful cooperation and will continue to provide updates on the development of collaboration between the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and the Federation of European Academies of Medicine (FEAM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
