The following people addressed the staff with congratulatory remarks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2728 Vasyl Lazoryshynets, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2728 Mykola Dmytrovych Tronko, Director of the Institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2728 Volodymyr Radchenko, Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2728 Ihor Komisarenko, son of the famous Ukrainian scientist Vasyl Petrovych Komisarenko, who also became an outstanding surgeon-endocrinologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, who shared warm memories of his father’s life and professional career and his contribution to the development of Ukrainian endocrinology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also participating in the event were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udd39 Serhiy Anatoliyovych Kubansky, Chairman of the Kyiv City Trade Union of Health Workers, who awarded the best employees with Certificates of Honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u261d\ufe0fAs part of the celebration, the director of the Institute, Mykola Tronko, presented a report on the institution’s work over the past 60 years. He highlighted the key stages in the Institute’s development, particularly the period after the Chernobyl disaster, as well as the unique scientific achievements and medical techniques currently being implemented by the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf0d We would like to highlight one of the Institute’s important achievements: it became the first and only institution in Ukraine to receive EASO accreditation and EASO COM status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EASO Collaborating Centres for the Treatment of Obesity (COM) is a network of accredited multidisciplinary European centres operating to the highest standards in the treatment of obesity and metabolic disorders. This recognition highlights the high level of scientific and clinical work carried out by the Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf96\ufe0f During the event, awards were presented to employees who have dedicated decades of their professional lives to the Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udc4f We sincerely congratulate the entire staff of the Institute and all the award winners on their 60th anniversary!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
