{"id":6911,"date":"2025-12-03T22:19:48","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T20:19:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/health.gov.ua\/en\/?page_id=6911"},"modified":"2025-12-03T22:33:27","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T20:33:27","slug":"05-11-2025-an-expanded-meeting-of-the-presidium-of-the-national-academy-of-medical-sciences-of-ukraine-was-held","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/health.gov.ua\/en\/events\/main-events-of-the-institute-2025\/05-11-2025-an-expanded-meeting-of-the-presidium-of-the-national-academy-of-medical-sciences-of-ukraine-was-held\/","title":{"rendered":"On November 5, 2025, an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was held (date of publication on the website: 06.11.2025)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">On November 5, 2025, an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was held<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The expanded meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was held at the Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2757\ufe0fDuring the meeting, key issues of the Academy&#8217;s activities in the current conditions were discussed, in particular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcccproviding specialized assistance to military personnel and veterans;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccccooperation with the National Health Service of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcccpreparing the Academy&#8217;s institutions for possible blackouts during the winter period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Composition of the Presidium of the NAMS of Ukraine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Academician Vasyl Lazoryshynets \u2013 President of the NAMS of Ukraine, Academician of the NAMS and the NAS of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Academician Oleksandr Usenko \u2013 First Vice President of the NAMS of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Academician Serhii Vozianov \u2013 Vice President of the NAMS of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Academician Ihor Lurin \u2013 Vice President of the NAMS of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Doctor of Medical Sciences Natalia Medvedovska \u2013 Acting Chief Scientific Secretary of the NAMS of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following officials were invited to participate in the expanded presidium of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and joined the meeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Viktoria Wagner \u2013 Member of Parliament of Ukraine, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health, representative of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Ihor Zholnovych, Head of the Contractual Work Department of the National Health Service of Ukraine, who joined the constructive online dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcccKey reports:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u270d\ufe0f Vasyl Lazoryshynets, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, delivered a report entitled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\u201cProviding specialized care to military personnel and veterans,\u201d in which he highlighted in detail:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705the interaction of the National Academy of Medical Sciences with the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Health, the Accounting Chamber, the Ministry of Health, and the National Health Service of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705systemic challenges and problems in the Academy&#8217;s institutions;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 steps taken and achievements in the field of medical care for military personnel and veterans;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 organizational and problematic issues that require attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of his speech, the President of the Academy expressed his sincere gratitude:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\ude4f&#8221;We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their courage and resilience.<br>We thank the deputies, the Ministry of Health, and the National Health Service of Ukraine for their support and constructive dialogue.<br>We thank the staff of the NAMS institutions for their hard work during these difficult times.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u261d\ufe0fSerhii Siromakha, Doctor of Medical Sciences, head of the Department of Medical Treatment and Interaction with the National Health Service of Ukraine, also gave a presentation entitled \u201cNAMSU State Institutions in the Medical Guarantees Program. Expectations and Reality. Next Steps.\u201d<br>\u2757\ufe0fIn his speech, he talked about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccdthe work of the interdepartmental group of the NAMSU and the National Health Service of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccdthe Academy&#8217;s interaction with the Parliamentary Committee, the Accounting Chamber, the Ministry of Health, and the National Health Service of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccdpractical steps to increase the effectiveness of the Academy&#8217;s institutions&#8217; participation in the medical guarantees program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the directors of the NAMSU research institutes shared their experience in preparing for possible blackouts and organizing the continuous provision of medical care in emergency situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udd1d\ud83c\udf97\ufe0fAs part of the event, the President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine presented diplomas and letters of appreciation to
