\u270d\ufe0f On November 6, 2025, in Kyiv, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, represented by its President, Academician Vasyl Lazoryshynets, and the NGO \u00abMayors’ Club,\u00bb represented by its First Vice President Olexandr Mazurchak, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Mutual Understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udccdThe document provides for the development of partnership in the field of healthcare and medical science, aimed at improving the quality of medical care, developing innovations in medicine, and strengthening social support for citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The parties paid particular attention to providing assistance to veterans, military personnel, war victims, and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udcccThe memorandum defines joint steps to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2611\ufe0fcreate effective patient pathways for treatment in clinics of the NAMS of Ukraine;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2611\ufe0fdevelop rehabilitation programs and preventive measures;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2611\ufe0fjointly organize scientific, educational, and social initiatives;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2611\ufe0fcarrying out research and activities aimed at preserving public health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83e\udd1dThe cooperation includes joint programs, forums, conferences, educational initiatives, and the exchange of scientific and practical experience between the Academy’s institutions and the communities represented by the NGO \u00abMayors’ Club.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udce2\u201cToday, we are laying the foundation for broad cooperation between scientific medicine and local communities. This partnership will help ensure quality medical care for every Ukrainian, especially our veterans and defenders,\u201d
said Vasyl Lazoryshynets, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2757The memorandum takes effect upon signing and will remain in force for five years with the possibility of extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
