The Academy brings together 32 institutes, including 28 clinical and 4 theoretical ones. Just recently, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was admitted to the Federation of European Academies of Medicine (FEAM), which confirms the high level of our work,&#8221; emphasized <strong>Vasyl LAZORYSHYNETS<\/strong>, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccc Cooperation between the Academy and the Donetsk region has a long history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2705In the 1990s, the first heart surgeries were performed at the V.K. Gusak Institute of Emergency and Reconstructive Surgery in Donetsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2705After 2014, the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine helped to restore cardiac surgery and other types of highly specialized medical care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2757The signing of the memorandum opens up new opportunities for cooperation and guarantees residents of Donetsk region access to modern methods of diagnosis and treatment in the Academy&#8217;s leading clinics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(date of publication on
