1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1884px) 100vw, 1884px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On October 2, 2025<\/strong>, a meeting of the Interagency Coordination Working Group on the Implementation of the National Action Plan on Noncommunicable Diseases to Achieve Global Sustainable Development Goals (hereinafter referred to as the Working Group) was held via videoconference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The State Institution \u00abCenter for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine\u00bb provided organizational and technical support for the activities of the Working Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 1694 of October 5, 2024, changes were made to the composition of the Working Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Olha RUDNYTSKA, a member of the Working Group and Head of the Coordination of Research Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences, participated in the meeting on behalf of the State Institution \u00abMarzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was chaired by the Deputy Chair of the Working Group, Olena ZAPOROZHSKA (Head of the Department of Non-Communicable Disease Prevention at the State Institution \u00abCenter for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine\u00bb) and Marta MELNYK (Head of the Department for Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Drug Control at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, a number of issues important to public health were raised, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Epidemiology of alcohol consumption among the adult population in Ukraine: comparison of WHO surveys from 2023 and 2024 (<em>Andriy SKIPALSKY, WHO Regional Office in Ukraine<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentation of the draft \u201cAction Plan to Reduce Alcohol Consumption and Minimize Harm through Strengthening the System of State Control, Prevention, and Response to the Consequences for 2026-2028\u201d (<em>Marta MELNYK, Head of the Department for Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Drug Control at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation of the \u201cHealthy Workplace\u201d approach (<em>Maryna BRAGA, Community Health Promotion Coordinator for the \u201cAct for Health\u201d project<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the results of the meeting, a number of priority joint tasks were developed to implement the initiatives discussed. The members of the Working Group emphasized the importance of further cross-sectoral cooperation in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(date of publication on the website
