Acting Director of the State Institution \u00abMarzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine,\u00bb Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Igor SHKROBANETS<\/a><\/strong> took part in the National Health Forum of Ukraine – 2025<\/strong>, which was held on May 22, 2025<\/strong> at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine<\/a> and organized by the Ukrainian Federation of Professional Medical Organizations,<\/a> and became a kind of professional platform for an open conversation between government officials, experts and the medical community on key tasks and challenges in the healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the medical forum, Igor SHKROBANETS<\/a><\/strong> not only presented to the participants an extremely interesting report on the topic: \u201cScientific Support and Implementation of Medical Self-Governance \u2013 Important Components of the Healthcare Reform in Ukraine<\/strong>,\u201d which thoroughly analyzed the healthcare model of the United Kingdom (Beveridge Model), which is the basis for reforming the Ukrainian healthcare system, he also introduced to the general medical community a number of institutions that closely and fruitfully cooperate in the general healthcare system of the United Kingdom, but were not taken into account in the reform of our healthcare system, but should be taken into account in ours, and as the Secretary General of the UFPMO<\/a>, he moderated the panel discussions of the forum and together with the President of the Federation, Rector of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine Viacheslav V. KAMINSKYI<\/a><\/strong>, took part in the ceremony of awarding 28 young doctors from different regions of the country with the honorary award \u201cThe Future of the Medical Profession.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth noting that the forum was attended by Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor LIASHKO<\/a><\/strong>, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Health, Medical Care and Medical Insurance Mykhailo RADUTSKYI<\/a><\/strong>, acting President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Vasyl LAZORYSHYNETS<\/a><\/strong>, Commander of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General of the Medical Service Anatoliy KAZMIRCHUK<\/a><\/strong>, Head of the National Health Service of Ukraine Natalia GUSAK<\/a><\/strong>, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council Tetiana YEHOROVA-LUTSENKO<\/a><\/strong>, and Lviv Mayor Andriy SADOVYI<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final document was the Forum’s Resolution, which should become a guideline for addressing the problems and current issues raised at the medical event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
