On April 4, 2025<\/strong>, on the occasion of the WORLD HEALTH DAY 2025<\/strong>, a scientific and practical conference with international participation, \u00abHealthy Start of Life \u2013 the Key to a Prosperous Future,<\/strong>\u00bb was held at the Bogomolets National Medical University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference was attended by speakers from various fields from the governmental, scientific and non-governmental sectors: Bogomolets National Medical University Rector Iurii KUCHYN with fellow scientists, Director General of the Public Health Center of Ukraine of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Mykhailo ROSADA, Deputy Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control Volodymyr KOROLENKO, Acting Director of the State Institution \u00abMarzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine\u00bb Igor SHKROBANETS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The online discussion was joined by Serhiy UBOGOV, Head of the Department of Medical Personnel, Education and Science at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, scientists from Poland and Moldova, and representatives of various scientific schools from many regions of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main scientific areas of the conference were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Accessibility and quality of health care services;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Health promotion;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Development of the public health system;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 International, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of public health;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Modern challenges and threats to public health;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Health care in emergencies and martial law;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Strengthening and reforming health care systems;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Areas of combating non-communicable and communicable diseases;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Preventive strategies in health care;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Socio-economic and environmental determinants of health;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Electronic healthcare;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Management in health care;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Health care financing;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2663 Legal and ethical principles of health care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference had fruitful discussions that will contribute to sound proposals and decision-making aimed at realizing the right of mothers and children to health, ensuring accessibility and quality of health care services, countering current epidemics, environmental, socio-economic, and military challenges, and threats, reducing health risks, promoting healthy lifestyles, and implementing cross-sectoral actions to preserve and promote public health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor Shkrobanets<\/a><\/strong>, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Acting Director of the State Institution \u00abMarzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine,\u00bb delivered a welcoming speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
