On September 26, 2023, was held meeting between representatives an UNEP (UN Environmental Program) – Geraint Williams<\/strong>, ALS laboratory in Hawarden (UK), a specialist in investigation and assessment of land pollution, member of the Committee on Standards and Mohammad Haris Sherzad<\/strong>, Advisor of the Project, the Department of Catastrophe and Conflict, with Employees of the State Institution “Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” \u2013 Nadiia Polka<\/strong>, Director of the Institute, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Olena Turos<\/strong>, Deputy Director for Scientific Work, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Mikhailo Rosada<\/strong>, Deputy Director for Scientific and Practical Work, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Alla Koblianska<\/strong>, the Head of the Department of Support of State Programs and International Relations, Candidate of Sciences (Medicine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were discussed issues of cooperation, the possibility of employees of the Institute to participate in the prevention, evaluation and events of emergency elimination in Ukraine, caused by chemical, physical, radiation and other threats. It was noted that the Institute’s specialists are now working on waste, water, air, shelter and recovery of medical institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
